Back and RunningWell I am officially back! It’s good to be back and it’s good to see all you DA friends and artist. I’m still a busy bee but now that my baby girl is older I have a little more time to myself and my art. I have so many ideas and sketches that I can’t wait to start and create for my wonderful audience. I’m thinking of doing some Disney fan art because I’ve been watching a lot of Disney movies with my little girl and it’s inspired me draw some of Disney’s favorite characters. I’m also working on my new site layout! And that’s going to be up and running in July!
New MommyI love being a new mom, it’s the most wonderful thing in the world! My pregnancy was absolutely wonderful and perfect that I actually miss being pregnant! The delivery was only 21minutes! So it was quick and painless! I guess I was just one of those lucky ones who had a breeze. My beautiful baby was born August 21,07 and her name is Juliet, my husband picked out her name and I love it! She’s going to be ten months in a couple of days. I can’t believe it’s almost been a year!
Mrs. GiannoniYes I got married! And I have changed my last name to Giannoni, I have decided to also change my art work to Norma Giannoni instead of Norma Olivas. So now I’ll be know as Norma Giannoni!
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team In TrainingI am training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia and lymphoma, from taking more lives. I will be running the Women’s Nike Marathon in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! (for the thousands of people battling cancer.)
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training (TNT) is the world’s largest endurance sports training program, which provides coaching and support for people to cross the finish line at marathons, half marathons and cycling events. Over 340,000 participants have raised more than $800 million to help blood cancer patients live better, longer lives.
For many people, getting to know a blood cancer patient from their community is what makes TNT a truly special experience. The courage of your honored teammate battling cancer will inspire and motivate you in your challenge to complete a major endurance sports event.
To my fellow artist and friends it would mean so much if you could help me with my personal goal to raise $2,700 for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. 75% of all donations go to support research and patient services.
I will personally send a thank you letter and a little gift for your donation and part of that gift will be this limited addition illustration of Hope. I will only publish 250 prints they will be numbered and signed by me.
